Manchester United Football Club, the world’s second most valuable football club, made its highly anticipated arrival in Hong Kong with the support of One Space’s design team. We were engaged to design their regional headquarters at 50 Connaught Road.

Upon arrival, ManU’s guests are treated to a truly immersive football club experience from the front door. A series of rooms, re-interpretations of a traditional club setting, lay out a journey that reinforces the brand and its heritage and every step. High ceilings are exploited throughout, with traditional timber wall panelling in the Reception giving way through a large portal to a striking and theatrical “Hall of Fame”. Here a panoramic, self-illuminated image of the famous Old Trafford Stadium, complete with real AstroTurf on the floor, replaces the nostalgic wall panelling. On the opposite wall are full-height images of legendary ManU players throughout history.
