Following the acquisition of local furniture manufacturer POSH by globally renowned Herman Miller, One Space were engaged to design a series of projects that would not only showcase the Herman Miller heritage & brand, but also would demonstrate in everyday use the company’s ‘Living Office’ concept. 

Two of these projects, designed and delivered in parallel in 2016, are a new Showroom in Wanchai, Hong Kong, and the company’s relocated Regional Headquarters in Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong.

Working closely with Herman Miller’s global experience & place development teams in the USA, leveraging late-night & early-morning videoconference design workshops, our designers co-developed a unique radial plan for what is typically a linear Showroom experience, in response to the circular floorplate of the new premises. A radial, flexible lighting scheme, combined with strategically placed Living Office elements, permit periodic installations of the latest products.
