Following the success of an earlier China Everbright Bank project in the same building, One Space was commissioned to design this one-of-the-kind Private Banking centre, which became their first such establishment in Hong Kong under its recently obtained private bank license. Our scheme redefines the traditional, ornate expression of wealth expression, developing a harmonious balance between contemporary Asian references and broader international influences, reinforcing the bank’s global outreach to its high-nett worth customers.
The approximately 9,500 sq ft floor space is divided into a client activity zone, meeting suites and a multi-purpose salon. The environment is bespoke in every aspect to provide a sense of tailored craftsmanship throughout: From the lush, embroidered leather wall panelling depicting the silhouettes of swaying willow leaves, to the refined use of brass delicately inserted into decorative metalworks, underpinned by the exquisitely-patterned marble flooring. The entire space is embellished with fine arts and collectibles presenting conversational landing points for the bank’s widely-travelled clients.
