Following the success of our Hong Kong project for this well-known online trading platform, we were commissioned as the design-&-build provider for their new Singapore office and customer service centre. The high-floor premises at HarbourFront Tower One offers picturesque views of Sentosa Island and the iconic Singapore Cable Car that links it to the main island.

After defining the client’s requirements and parameters, we aimed to combine a brand-experience-reinforcing customer service centre at from-of-house, with a quietly elegant, approachable staff-centric workplace that would benefit from the ample daylight and views.

In the main entrance area, we adopted a minimalist, digitally-inspired aesthetic that resonates with the brand’s “DNA” — uncluttered and self-confident. Set against a sleek, clean, white background, the “red man” pictogram, synonymous with the Interactive Broker brand, is amplified — made oversized and transformed into an architectural element. Strategically positioned as a lead-in to the company’s full logo behind the Reception desk, the red man motif generates an immediately recognisable sense of arrival, clearly marking the main entrance even from a distance. This singular bold gesture serves as a catalyst for the geometry of the surrounding forms and surfaces, rendered entirely in black-&-white.
