The room design is separated into three zones – Lounge, Record and Talk which is transformable by sound-absorbing curtains & moveable screens. Its challenge is the limited space so we need to accommodate a dynamic transformation of the studio zones to allow simultaneous shoot. There was also a high-level of acoustic requirements including room acoustic design, mechanical services noise control, and sound insulation design.

Our solution is to captialise the length of the long wall to install the variable fixed backdrops and green screen that are on sliding tracks. We worked alongside our audio-visual specialist and acoustic consultant to establish state-of-the-art technology integration and appropriate acoustic design criteria for the studio based on the existing commercial building.

Entrance are completed with acoustically rated partition and doors to provide the best sound insulation. An editing suite is situated by the entrance to act as a sound barrier, while it overlooks the recording studio for video editing and post-production.
